TIPS AND TRICKS
PASSIVE: Ninjutsu Equinox
The Scarlet Shadow’s secret technique. When Hanabi has full HP, 50% of health that would have been granted from lifesteal is converted into a shield for up to 20% of her Max HP. When this shield is active, Hanabi is immune to all control effects.
FIRST SKILL: Ninjutsu Petal Barrage
Hanabi consumes mana to unleash the flower demon sealed within the Higanbana, firing petal blades at her enemies. After each basic attack hits, a new blade will spawn and deal 30% physical damage to the enemy. Fires 3 petals (damage has diminishing returns with each hit)
Passive: Hanabi gains 7% lifesteal, which will increase by 3% each time this skill’s level is upgraded.
NOTE: This skill works on anything. The petals “bounce” between heroes, minions, jungle monsters and most of all, TURRETS. This gives Hanabi an advantage of damaging and destroying turrets even outside the turret area.
SECOND SKILL: Ninjutsu Soul Scroll
Fires a kunai in the specified direction, attached to a scroll sealed with demonic flower energy. Deals 300(+80% Total Physical ATK) physical damage to enemies it hits along the way and slows them by 60% for 2 seconds. Hanabi will recover 140 mana for each enemy hero hit.
ULTIMATE SKILL: Forbidden Jutsu Higanbana
When the flowers blossom, the leaves are forgotten.
Hanabi completely unlocks the Higanbana’s seal and launches it at the enemy. After hitting an enemy, the Higanbana blooms, dealing 400(+100% Total Physical ATK) physical damage and immobilizing them for 2 seconds, then spreads to nearby enemies. After a certain period of time, if the enemy is still within range of the Higanbana, a new flower will appear, causing the same damage and immobilization effect. The spreading effect only works once per hero.
This combo is very effective especially in clashes. Hanabi’s skills is mostly for team fights after all.
1. Cast Hanabi’s Ultimate Skill on enemies. This will immobilize them.
2. Activate first skill and attack the enemies.
3. Use second skill for additional damage and to slow possible enemy escapes or charges.

Burst Damage, High Lifesteal
First, you have to grab the Demon Hunter Sword. This is a good starter item for marksmen heroes because of its additional attack damage and speed which are the essential attributes of this hero role, plus the item’s Unique Passive which gives Hanabi more burst damage against enemies and the additional lifestealing effect. Note also to buy at least one Magic Necklace for the early game (may be before or after buying the first crafting item of the DHS) to cover the continuous mana consumption of Hanabi’s first skill. Besides, this will be needed to craft the Endless Battle later on. Next, grab the Swift Boots to boost attack speed. Buy also the Endless Battle. The additional mana regen will be very helpful to cover the mana consumption of her skills, and the additional movement speed (both from the active and passive (Chase Fate) attributes) compensates for Hanabi’s lack of mobility skills. The item’s Unique Passive: Divine Justice also contributes largely on Hanabi’s burst damage because of its additional 85% true damage. Next, buy the Berserker’s Fury for more critical chance (active) and critical damage (unique and passive unique). Also grab the Windtalker. The added movement speed, aside from the attack speed and critical chance, from both active and passive attributes helps with Hanabi’s lack of mobility skills. Lastly, buy the Blade of Despair.
Among all the marksmen, Hanabi, aside from Layla, has no mobility skills. Flicker will be a big help for chasing enemies and escaping from them. Remember to use it wisely.
This spell helps in farming to obtain items faster and to upgrade her skills easier.
